The Canadian-assembled Econolines had a different data plate from those assembled in the U.S.A. Right now we have only data from 1965. We have made some assumptions about the 1961 to 1964 Econolines.

Right now we have only data from 1965. We have made some assumptions about 1961 to 1964 Econolines.
In 1965, all Econolines had a Ford dataplate.
The Canadian model year was based on the calendar year, rather than the USA model year that begins in August. Thus features for a USA model year might be available in a different Canadian year.
Panel Van = no side cargo doors, no side windows
Standard Pickup = has 3 or 5 windows (not counting the windshield)
Custom/Deluxe Pickup = has 5 windows
Falcon Deluxe/Custom = has side trim
Super = Extended length
exc. = Excluding
pre-ballast = In mid-1961 Ford started installing a ballast above the gas tank. The GVWR is different for Econolines without the ballast.
(H.D.) = Heavy Duty - thicker steel frame, extra leaves in springs, heavy-duty rear axle, heavier payload capacity
